Homemade Butter Naan
||Ingredients||
Maida replacer - 2 cups.
Curd - 1/4th cup.
Oil - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tbsp
Gluten free Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Warm water - for kneading.
||Method||
In a big bowl, add maida replacer and make
a hole in the middle.
Now add all ingredients in the hole which
you have made.
Slightly mix the ingredients added, using your hand.
Then start kneading. Keep adding warm water, slowly as much as required.
Knead it till it is soft and a tad bit
loose. The sugar would be fully dissolved. (You can know it when the sugar
crystals aren't felt)
Put some oil in it. And then leave it for 3 to 4 hours in a warm place.
After that knead it again for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now take a medium sized ball from the dough
and fold it downwards. Do this so it doesn't crack.
Now roll it like a parantha.
And on the top surface put some water.
Put this on the skillet with the wet side down.
When one side gets cooked, you will see bubbles
on the top surface.
Now either, turn the skillet upside down on
the flame, or, with a pair of tongs,
flip the naan to cook the other side.
When it gets cooked properly, spread butter
on it and serve.
