Rose Milk Pudding

 




||Ingredients||

 

Milk - 2 cup + 1/4 cup

 

Cream - 1/4 cup

 

Corn flour - 3-4 tsp + 2 tsp

 

Rose Sharbat (Rose Syrup) - 1/4 cup

 

Water - 1 /4 cup

 

Sugar - 2 tbsp

 

||Method||

 

Heat a pan, add 2 cup milk and sugar. Mix well.

 

Meanwhile take 1/4 cup cold milk and add 3-4 tsp corn flour to it and mix it well.

 

After one boil in the milk and sugar mixture, add this corn flour mix it and stir it continuously. Also add cream and mix well (the flame should be low to medium).

 

When it starts thickening, switch off the flame and stir it continuously to avoid lumps. This takes around 8 to 10 minutes. Now let it cool and come to room temperature.

 

Take 1/4 cup water and add 2 tsp corn flour to it, mix it well. Heat a pan and add this mixture, stir it continuously.

 

After 2-3 minutes it will become transparent, then add rose sharbat (rose syrup) and mix it well. Switch off the flame.

 

Transfer it into a bowl. Now let it cool and come to room temperature.

 

After it cools down, start assembling it in a bowl, cup or glass.

 

Firstly add the 3-4 tbsp milk mixture and refrigerate it for 1/2 hour. After that take it out and pour 1-2 tbsp rose sharbat (rose syrup) and chill it again for 1 hour.

 

Garnish with some chopped almonds and serve chilled.

 

||Notes||

 

The quantity of corn flour can vary according to the type of milk you are using.

 

Whole procedure should be carried out on low flame.
