Savory Waffles

 


||Ingredients||

 

Gluten free chickpea flour (besan) – 1 cup

 

Onion - 1 (chopped)

 

Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (finely chopped) (optional)

 

Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp or as per taste

 

Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp or as per taste

 

Salt - 1/2 tsp or as per taste

 

Oil - 1 tbsp

 

Mixed herbs - 1 tsp (optional)

 

Baking soda - 1 pinch

 

Water - as required

 

||Method||

 

Take a bowl add besan, all the spices, chopped onion, coriander leaves and oil to it.

 

Now, gradually add water and make a thick batter out of this.

 

Then add the baking soda, mix, cover and keep it aside for 5 to 7 minutes.

 

Now pre-heat the waffle maker and grease it with oil or butter.

 

Then put the batter in it.

 

In 4 to 5 minutes the waffles will get ready.

 

||Notes||

 

You can add the vegetables of your choice.

 

Batter should be a little thick.
