Shwarma
||Ingredients||
For Dough
Maida replacer- 2 cup
Yeast- 2 tsp
Sugar- 2 tsp
Salt-1/4 tsp
Yogurt- 1 tbsp
Warm Water - 3/4 cup
For Stuffing
Boiled and Grated Potatoes - 3
Boiled and Grated cucumber - 1
Boiled and Grated carrot - 1+1/2
Boiled Babycorn - 1/4 cup
Finely Chopped Tomato (without
pulp) - 1/2 cup
Finely Chopped Capsicum - 1/4 cup
Homemade Mayonnaise - 4-5 tbsp or
according to taste
||Method||
For Dough
In a bowl add warm water, sugar.
Mix it well.
Then add yeast. And mix it again.
Now let it activate for 10-15 minutes (activation time depends on the weather).
Now add Gluten free flour, yogurt
and salt. Knead it. If required add little more water.
Knead a soft and pliable dough.
Let it further rest for 2 hours.
The dough will ferment after the
given time.
Now divide the dough into 3-4
equal portions. Roll it with a rolling pin.
Take a big cookie cutter or a
circular utensil and cut the pieces.
In a non-stick pan, cook these
from both sides on medium to high flame. Cook all of these in the same way.
Let them cool so that you can
work easily. Now make the stuffing.
For Stuffing
Add all the vegetables in a bowl
with mayonnaise.
If required add some salt,
because mayonnaise already has salt in it.
Mix all these ingredients well.
||Assembling||
Take a piece of shwarma and cut
it horizontally halfway through.
Fill 2-3 tbsp stuffing in it.
Shwarma is
ready it is best served with maynnaise, sauce or simply like this.
