Sorghum Chapati
||Ingredients||
Sorghum flour – 1 cup
Water – 1 cup
Salt – ¼ tsp
||Method||
Heat a pan.
Add water to it and bring it to a boil.
Add salt to this and simmer the flame.
Now, add sorghum flour, and mix it with the help of a wooden
spatula.
Switch of the flame. Cover it for 5-10 minutes.
After this, take it out in a plate, and smoothen the dough.
(This will be hot, so grease your hands a bit, or use the spatula for the first
2-3 minutes)
Heat a tawa. Divide the dough into equal portions.
Take one portion, roll it into a ball gently, smoothen it,
and then coat it with dry sorghum flour. Now flatten this ball using a rolling
pin. Do this very gently.
Place this on the hot tawa. When one side cooks a bit, flip
it. Cook both sides properly.
